The Exposure/Metering project helped us better understand how to manually control our cameras. The goal was to adjust the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture so the camera’s light meter read zero, achieving proper exposure. We practiced this in both indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. I really enjoyed this project because it was fun to experiment with all the settings we’d learned and find the perfect balance. It was satisfying to have full control over how each image turned out. I was especially happy with my photos, particularly the one of the squirrel, it felt creative and well-executed. Overall, this project was both fun and educational, and it gave me more confidence using manual settings.
