Shutter speed was another key technique we explored in this course. It refers to the amount of time the camera’s shutter stays open to let in light, and for this project, the goal was to capture motion by adjusting shutter speed settings. I thought this project was really cool, I enjoyed experimenting with photographing subjects in motion. The biggest challenge I faced was trying to keep my subject (Annie) sharp while creating a blurred background to show movement. Despite that, I loved how my photos turned out. The project was quick, simple, and a lot of fun. I enjoyed the creative possibilities it offered and found it to be a valuable hands-on learning experience.
